Izumi Fujiyama
Izumi Fujiyama
She is the former principal clarinetist of the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra and the former principal clarinetist of the Shanghai Oriental Sinfonietta. She has also performed with many musicians and orchestras, including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. Her performance activities are diverse, including a recital with the Shanghai Chamber Orchestra and a joint recital in Santa Rita, Brazil.

First time playing the clarinet
We could assist you select an instrument if needed. The assembling and maintaining the instrument are introduced as well as proper posture and breathing techniques. We will then gradually introduce fingering and blowing into the instrument and make sounds through the mouthpiece.
Those who are active in school bands or amateur bands, etc.
We will increase the difficulty of etudes and practice pieces so that students who have mastered the basic techniques can step up. We will increase the repertoire of solo pieces and improve ensemble skills so that students can actively play together with piano and other instruments.
Those who wish to continue their specialized studies such as taking the entrance exam for a music college or studying abroad
Not only for entrance exam preparation, in order to improve performance skills, we will increase the repertoire of concertos, sonatas, and chamber music, and also work on orchestras. We will also provide performance opportunities and master class opportunities with overseas performers. We will also work on teaching methods so that students can acquire more expertise and pass on their skills to future generations.
